Portfolio = effort

In order to succeed in anything, one needs to make an effort. This semester, I would like to reward students who make an effort. Consequently, your 30-point portfolio score will now be based on the effort you make both in and outside of class.
At the end of this semester, please present your portfolio to me in person. I will grade you on three things:
a) how well you worked in class
b) the downloaded prints (which you should put in your portfolio)
c) your portfolio of 15 articles (see course outline for tips on how to present your work)
Students who work hard in class an who make a reasonable effort with the downloads and their portfolios will score more points than those who make less effort. A perfect portfolio on the final day of the semester will not score you many points if you did little all semester.
Please do your best!
